Most designers will make your brand look nice. I make sure it works. That means brand identity and designs built with purpose. I gained experience for over a decade inside a real marketing department where the work had to perform, not just impress (though it still looked good).

I’ve been designing professionally for almost two decades. What started as a passion for making things look good turned into something deeper…the obsession with making things look good but also work.

For the past twelve years, I’ve been a designer and mentor inside the marketing department of a local software company. The experience of working inside an actual marketing team, I learned that design isn’t just making art, it’s a business tool, and when done correctly, can create many opportunities for growth.

I am the senior designer and mentor to a team of designers in the marketing department. My primary focus is establishing the brand within the market and the overall design and function of the corporate website. Over my time with the company, I have been involved with three website redesigns, two of which I was the creative designer, two company rebrands or brand refresh, and created the current brand standards.

I was the lead designer who oversaw every design and work order that came through, including the companies website where orders were initiated. I also ran and maintained four large format printers including a large photo printer and UV conveyer belt printer. I also assisted the owner and the store manager with install projects when needed.
